The unicycle is a compact and agile personal transport device. To ride a unicycle, you need to learn to balance, similar to riding a bicycle, to avoid falling to the side. Having a friend assist you is helpful, even if they can’t ride, as they can guide you by holding your hand. You can also practice on a simple section with a handrail; the longer the better, at least several tens of meters. Leaning on the handrail, stand on the pedals with both feet and move forward at a comfortable speed. The skill of balancing is acquired quite quickly, usually within 1-2 half-hour training sessions. The unicycle is charged from a regular 230 V socket. On average, 1 hour of charging is enough for 10 km of riding, although faster chargers are available.

Models of unicycles with suspension improve riding comfort, especially on rough roads, but require suspension maintenance.

At night, you can turn on the headlight and ride safely at a comfortable speed.

You can also ride in the rain, but you must check the water resistance level of your model and, if necessary, perform additional waterproofing at a service center.

Service is usually not required for small mileage up to several hundred kilometers per year. If you travel several thousand kilometers per year, it’s best to have an inspection every year before winter and check the moisture protection to safely ride in rainy and snowy weather.
